For Immediate Release: Konixx Announces their NEW tile floor wheel, focused on weight, grip, and durability, with a great mid-range price!
After 6 months of R&D testing by players throughout the US and Europe, Konixx Hockey will be premiering their new Electron wheel one week from today at the NARCh West Finals in San Jose, CA.
Teased through the testing period on social media with posts featuring #GreenGuys, Konixx followers got sneak peaks at this bright green and clear wheel on players at all the major Winter and Spring tournaments, throughout the NCRHA season, as well as on players in Europe who were part of the product development team. Following up on the success of the Pure, the Electron brings similar performance in a single pour wheel, with a lower asking price. Brand Manager Nick Boyarsky explains,
“With the Pure, we have very tailored performance with three stiffness profiles offered on a high end, dual pour wheel. What we set out to do with the Electron, was a wheel that would be effective for most players on tile surfaces, using one specific stiffness. We achieved this with the introduction of our “Ultralight Core”, designed to eliminate weight while keeping the wheel stiff for speed, then matching it with a high rebound, tacky urethane compound to still allow for maximum traction”.
The Electron comes in at $9 a wheel and will be available via Konixx.com toward the end of June, 2017. Those attending the NARCh West Coast Finals in San Jose will be the first to have an early opportunity to try/buy as a pre-release batch was brought in just for the event. The demo program and direct sale of the wheel at events will continue at NARCh East Coast Finals in Toronto, and at State Wars in Taylor, MI.
“We started our try before you buy demo program last summer at some of the major tournaments, giving our customers a chance to let us prove to them why our Pure wheel was so special. This summer we’ll be offering that same opportunity with the Electron, and the Pure for those who still haven’t had the opportunity to experience it”, Boyarsky explains. Look for the Konixx booth this summer at these events and see AND experience the Electron for yourself!
